About this course
Making Sure you are depositing your money with a reputable Broker is of utmost importance. They will literally have your money. You better make sure to be with a trustworthy business, that has a history of good practices and who has great customer service. If there is ever an issue you will want to be able to reach an account representative easily to rectify or ask your questions.
Just do a quick Google search and you will find that the list of Brokers is endless… How does one wade through all the marketing mumbo jumbo and find the good guys???
I can tell you from personal experience that this Broker is good, and I have never had any issues with them. Further, I have been very happy with the customer service they provide. I suggest testing out the level of customer support prior to setting up an account. Do they have live chat, or email communication? Send them some questions and see how quickly you get a response.
I selected this Broker for their reputation, low spreads/commissions and high quality, fast response time for acct representatives. They have free Demo accounts available and easy deposit and withdrawal methods.
With some of the new regulations IC Markets and many other brokers are no longer accepting Canadian or any North American resident. The list of available Brokers is getting smaller all the time.
I have been using Tickmill for some time now with good results and no issues. Many others traders I know very well review their experiences as positive too. I use this as my main account now as they have the lowest spreads I have ever found, are fully regulated and have as an easy to navigate website. Again… unfortunately they do not accept US clients. Here is a link to their site. If you sign up through this link, you will get a further 5% discount on the already extremely low commissions. In the name of full transparency, I do get a small bonus when you use these links too. If asked for an IB Account number please use IB64591746 in the registration process in order to get the 5% discount!
US Clients.. I have had to remove FXCM form this list due to them being shut down by the CFTC.. this is scary as they were a very well respected broker. I currently am suggesting Forex.com but do not have any personal experience with them. I am only suggesting them as I have heard good things form some of my US friends and members who trade. Offshore brokers will accept US clients but please make sure that you are going with a reputable company as them being in other countries, we have little to no control over our funds once they are in an account if something were to go wrong.
Please do your own due diligence on this topic so you can feel confident in your choice.https://vimeo.com/album/4495047/video/227827548
